In crafting the poster design for "The Modern Chair" exhibit at the Palm Springs Art Museum, Architecture and Design Center, I aimed to capture the essence of the event while showcasing my typographic expertise. Tasked with presenting a diverse range of chair designs by renowned artists, I created two versions of the poster, each featuring a distinct color palette that's warm or cool. Through careful attention to detail in typography, I highlighted key information such as the title, participating artists, and essential event details. By juxtaposing the sleek lines of the chair with bold typography, I aimed to convey the intersection of art, design, and functionality inherent in modern chair aesthetics. These posters serve not only as promotional tools but also as visual statements that reflect my ability to effectively communicate the essence of an exhibit through design.
