The Hack Job is a 70's-style single-fin surfboard with a pulled-in square tail that I shaped by hand, combining craftsmanship with a nod to vintage surfboard design. For the deck decal, I created a graphic that reads "The Hack Job," embracing the imperfect, hand-crafted nature of custom surfboards. The design is a playful acknowledgment of the quirks and unique character that come with shaping boards by hand. As both the shaper and designer, I'm particularly proud of how this project blends artistry and function, reflecting the soul of surf culture and the personal touch behind each board I make.
